License

The University Children's Learning Center (UCLC) holds a North Dakota Department of Health and Human Services Dual License as a Child Care Center and a Preschool.

UCLC is licensed to provide services for up to 110 children between the ages of 18 months and 6 years of age.

Being licensed by the ND Department of Human Services indicates compliance with State Health, Safety and Fire Codes, and State Guidelines for Center-based Child Care and Preschool Care. Also, as a ND Bright and Early Step-Four Quality Rated program, UCLC is in compliance with teacher education standards and the use of a research-based preschool curriculum.

The Learning Center also provides educational training for UND students from a variety of colleges and departments.
