Meal Menus
The University Children's Learning Center (UCLC) menu is created by a UND Registered Dietitian and approved through the ND Department of Public Instruction, Child and Adult Care Food Program. All food is prepared at Wilkerson Dining Services and brought to the Learning Center. At times substitutions are made, for instance if the bananas are not ripe Dining Services will hold onto our bananas and send us a fruit substitute.
If you would like to join your child for a meal, please see the Assistant Director about making a reservation.
Meal Plan Overview
Children between 18 months and 24 months of age will receive whole milk. Children 24 months and older will receive 1% Milk.
Children will receive a minimum of one whole grain product per day. Items in parentheses are the vegetarian substitution).
- Week 1 will be used for the weeks starting: January 9, February 13, March 20, April 24
- Week 2 will be used for the weeks starting: January 16, February 20, March 27, May 1
- Week 3 will be used for the weeks starting: January 23, February 27, April 3, May 8
- Week 4 will be used for the weeks starting: January 30 , March 6, April 10, May 15
- Week 5 will be used for the weeks starting: February 6, March 13, April 17, May 22

Monday
Breakfast:Cereal, oranges and milk
Lunch: Beef enchilada (black bean burger), veggies, Spanish rice, apricots,milk
Snack: Graham crackers, blueberry yogurt, water
Tuesday
Breakfast: Oatmeal, fruit cocktail, milk
Lunch: Cajun chicken alfredo (veggie nuggets), steamed carrots, garlic toast, grapes,
milk
Snack: Cornbread muffin, honey, milk
Wednesday
Breakfast: Scrambled eggs, toast, pineapple, milk
Lunch: Fish sandwich, tarter sauce (bean and cheese burrito), banana, UND cheese soup,
veggies, milk
Snack: Blueberry muffin, milk
Thursday
Breakfast: pancakes with syrup, peaches, milk
Lunch: Meatballs and gravy, whipped potatoes (grilled cheese), dinner roll, corn,
pears, milk
Snack: Whole grain wrap, hummus, water
Friday
Breakfast: Egg and cheese burrito, apples, milk
Lunch: Chicken provolone sandwich (bean and cheese burrito), veggies, pinnapple, milk
Snack: Mini bagels with cream cheese, apple juice

Lunch: 1/2 Cheeseburger (black bean burger), ketchup, mustard, watermelown, milk
Snack: Cottage cheese, peaches, water
Tuesday
Breakfast: French toast sticks, pineapple, milk
Lunch:Cranberry chicken tortellini (cheese tortellini with spaghetti sauce), artichoke
veggie blend, breadstick, apricots, milk
Snack: Sun-dried tomato hummus with saltine crackers, milk
Wednesday
Breakfast: Cheese omelet, whole wheat toast, mandarin oranges, milk
Lunch: Grilled Cheese, green beans,tomato ravioli soup, cantaloupe, milk
Snack: Breadstick, pizza sauce, and milk
Thursday
Breakfast: Malt-O-Meal, apples, and milk
Lunch: Popcorn chicken(vegetarian nuggets),dinner role, Mac-N-Cheese, romaine lettuce,
ranch dressing, pears, milk
Snack: Graham crackers, banana, water
Friday

Lunch: Wild rice meatballs (egg salad sandwich), veggies, garlic potatoes, dinner
