Meal Menus
The University Children's Learning Center (UCLC) menu is created by a UND Registered Dietitian and approved through the ND Department of Public Instruction, Child and Adult Care Food Program. All food is prepared at Wilkerson Dining Services and brought to the Learning Center. At times substitutions are made, for instance if the bananas are not ripe Dining Services will hold onto our bananas and send us a fruit substitute.
If you would like to join your child for a meal, please see the Assistant Director about making a reservation.
Meal Plan Overview
Children between 18 months and 24 months of age will receive whole milk. Children 24 months and older will receive 1% Milk.
Children will receive a minimum of one whole grain product per day. Items in parentheses are the vegetarian substitution).
- Week 1 will be used for the weeks starting: June 5, July 3, July 31
- Week 2 will be used for the weeks starting: June 12, July 10, August 7
- Week 3 will be used for the weeks starting: June 19, July 17, August 14
- Week 4 will be used for the weeks starting: June 26, July 24
Week 1
Monday
Breakfast:Pancakes, syrup, milk, pears
Lunch: Grilled Chicken Cordon Bleu Sandwiches (grilled cheese), sugar snap peas, pears,
ravioli soup,milk
Snack: Banana, blueberry yogurt, water
Tuesday
Breakfast: Cream of Wheat, peaches, milk
Lunch: Chicken taco (bean taco), Spanish Rice, corn, watermelon, milk
Snack: Pretzel breadsticks, milk
Wednesday
Breakfast: Cereal, pineapple, milk
Lunch: Fish sandwich, tarter sauce (black bean burger), apricots, UND cheese soup,
veggies, milk
Snack: Cucumber, carrots, red pepper, hummus, milk
Thursday
Breakfast: Turkey sausage breakfast pizza, mandarin oranges, milk
Lunch: Cauliflower crust cheese pizza, garlic breadstick, catalina blend veggies,
honeydew, milk
Snack: Animal crackers, milk
Friday
Breakfast: Cereal, grapes, milk
Lunch: Beef Quesadilla, green beans, apple, milk
Snack: Saltine Crackers, cheddar cheese slices, water

Lunch:Teriyaki chicken, brown rice, (veggie nuggets), Pacific Blend Veggies, banana,
milk
Snack: English Muffin, jelly, milk
Wednesday
Breakfast: Cheese omelet, whole wheat toast, strawberries, milk
Lunch: Sloppy joe, mac and cheese (bean and cheese burrito), green beans, grapes,
milk
Snack: Breadstick, pizza sauce, and milk
Thursday
Breakfast: French Toast, strawberries, and milk
Lunch: Popcorn chicken(vegetarian nuggets),dinner roll, whipped potatoes, Antigua blend
veggies, kiwi, milk
Snack: Vanilla yogurt, watermelon, water
Friday

Lunch: Turkey and Swiss wrap (vegetarian stacker on bun), steamed carrots, tomato
