Delta Airlines offers a discount ranging from 2%-10%, depending on the class of airfare
selected. Some classes are not eligible for discounts. The program discount is offered
to State and Higher Education employees booking business travel for themselves.
How to book discounted Delta Airline flights?
This discount program requires you to have a Delta SkyMiles account setup to receive the discount. If you don’t already have one, the setup instructions below will allow you to create one. After the initial setup, you will be able to access the discounts by logging into Delta.com or the Delta app using your SkyMiles account. You will still earn miles when booking flights through this discount program. You must create a SkyMiles number when booking your flight to be eligible for the discount.
You do not need to book university travel through delta airlines, however you will not receive the Delta discount without booking through Delta Discount Program or an approved travel agency. You will not be able to book discounted tickets using sites such as Travelocity, Expedia or Orbitz.

Can I use a travel agent?
Yes, you can use a travel agent; however, they must complete an ATPCO Form with Delta in order to pass the discount to you.
Please see the list of Travel Agents Approved to Offer Discount for those already setup. If you do not see a specific travel agent in the list, please contact the Procurement Officer for information on getting them setup. There is no fee for them to complete the form. You can find the list on the State Contract site under Contract #208.
It would be a good idea to remind your travel agent that the State is eligible for the Negotiated Rate so they don’t forget when booking your tickets. Hotel and car rentals are not linked to the Delta Discount program.
