Parking Services
UND Parking Services is committed to providing safe, efficient and cost effective parking and shuttle services.
University of North Dakota Parking and Transportation, a self-funded customer centric, department provides innovative services to the university community, visitors, and state agencies.
Parking on Campus
All vehicles that park on campus are required to have a UND permit and be registered with UND Parking Services. Temporary parking options are offered in the form of Passport Parking and Parking Meters around campus; to see where these areas are located, please see the “Passport Parking Map”.
Semester Break Parking
If you are leaving the area for the semester break, you can keep your vehicle in your correct permitted parking zone at no extra cost. We highly recommend, but do not require, that you leave your keys with a trusted friend or roommate.
UND will need to plow lots and do snow removal during the semester break and UND campus residents will be asked to move their vehicles. If your vehicle remains in the lot during snow removal events, your vehicle may be plowed around and you may have digging out to do upon return to our campus.
Parking Ramp
If you would like your vehicle to remain out of the elements, you can park in the parking ramp for a $7 daily rate.
You can pay through the paystation machines located on the 1st and 4th floors of the South-West tower. You can pay for multiple days in one transaction. For extended visits, you also have the option to use the Passport app; please see the “Passport Parking” section for more details on how to use the app.
