Parking Services
UND Parking Services is committed to providing safe, efficient and cost effective parking and shuttle services.
University of North Dakota Parking and Transportation, a self-funded customer centric, department provides innovative services to the university community, visitors, and state agencies.
Parking on Campus
All vehicles that park on campus must have a permit and be registered with UND Parking Services. Vehicles without a UND parking permit are able to park for a limited time in Passport Parking© located in metered spaces, the parking ramp and the visitor pay lot.
Semester Break Parking
If you are leaving the area for the semester break, you can keep your vehicle in your correct permitted parking zone at no extra cost. We highly recommend, but not require, that you leave your keys with a trusted friend or roommate.
UND will need to plow lots and do snow removal during the semester break and UND campus residents will be asked to move their vehicles. If your vehicle remains in the lot during snow removal events, your vehicle may be plowed around and you may have digging out to do upon return to our campus.
Parking Ramp
If you would like your vehicle to remain out of the elements, you can park in the parking ramp for $7 daily rate.
You can pay using paystation in the lobby of the 4th floor SW tower (choose how many days) or use the passport parking app and make payment by 7am to avoid a fine each business day. The app may be more cost effective because no payment would be required for weekends or holidays (UND is closed Dec. 24 and Dec. 31st in observance of the holidays).
