Event Parking
Event parking information, passes, and requests.
At the University of North Dakota, we strive to make parking convenient and accessible for all visitors attending events on campus. Whether you're coming for a department presentation, a summer camp, or attending a show at the Chester Fritz Performing Arts Center, our goal is to ensure your event experience starts smoothly and from the moment you arrive to when you leave.
Athletic Event Parking
During home hockey games, all parking lots surrounding the REA are reserved for event use. These lots are managed by REA staff, and UND Parking Services during event times.
However, UND provides designated event parking within walking distance of the arena.

Credit Card Only Lots
- $10 - Harvard Lot
- $15 - Bronson Ctr Lot
Cash or Credit Card
- $15 - SMHS Lot
- $20 - Wellness Lot
- $20 SMHS SW Lot
UND Parking offers general admission parking in the Wellness lot for $10.
Parking for events at Albrecht field are pre-arranged with UND Athletics. Please reach out to UND Athletics or UND Parking Services for parking information for a specific event.
Parking for track and field events are pre-arranged with UND Athletics. Please reach out to UND Athletics or UND Parking Services for parking information for a specific event.
Performing Arts & Cultural Events
Event attendees are required to stay out of the CFPAC NE and SW Overnight Zones.
Look for signs marking lots reserved for North Dakota Museum of Art events.
Parking for events is available in these lots:
- Twamley Lot
- Gustafuson Lot
- Burtness Lot
- Carnegie Lot
If there are no signs posted at the lots, then regular UND parking rules apply; a valid permit or payment required.
Any questions can be directed to the North Dakota Museum of Art or to UND Parking Services.
Parking for Burtness Theater events is available in the Burtness, Gustafson, and Twamley parking lots; for other events or additional details please contact 701.777.3446.
REA parking staff direct traffic and collect parking fees during events. For more information regarding non-UND event parking please see the Ralph Engelstad Arena website.
Campus & Conference Events
Parking for events at the Memorial Union is available in the parking ramp.
Events at the Memorial Union may include prearranged parking for event attendees. For questions on parking for a specific event, please reach out to the organizer for the event or contact Parking Services.
Parking for events at the Hopper Danely Spiritual Center is available in the following:
- Burtness Lot
- Gustafson Lot
- Twamley Lot
- CFPAC Lot
Reminder: Please stay out of Overnight Zones in the CFPAC lot.
