Updating Vehicle Information

Keep your permit accurate with your current vehicle information

Adding a Personal Vehicle to Your Account

• Click "Vehicles" from the menu bar at the top of the parking portal
• Click the "Add Vehicle" button below the list of active vehicles on your account
• Fill out the vehicle form with the following information:
  • License Plate (no spaces or dashes. If no plate is present use the last 8 digits of the VIN)
  • State (if no plates are present, select "Missing Plate" for the state)
  • Model Year
  • Make
  • Model
  • Color
• Click "Next" once the form is completed to have the vehicle added to your account.
  • If you currently have fewer than 3 vehicles on your current permit, the vehicle will also be linked to the active permit(s) automatically when added.
  • If you have more than 3 active vehicles on your account or permit, the vehicle will only be added to your account, not your current permit. To add the vehicle to your permit, please see adding a vehicle to your permit. 

If you receive a error message stating the plate already exists in the system and you are unable to advance, please contact UND Parking Services by calling 701.777.3551 or by emailing parking@UND.edu for assistance.

Adding a Rental or Loaner Vehicle

If you are currently using a rental or loaner vehicle, please call UND Parking Services at 701.777.3551 or email parking@UND.edu to have the vehicle added to your account and current permit for the duration that you will have the vehicle.

Removing a Vehicle

If you no longer own a vehicle that is currently linked to your account, please contact UND Parking Services by email or by calling 701.777.3551 to have the vehicle removed from your account. Before a vehicle can be removed from your account all citations that you are currently responsible for must be paid. 

Edit Existing Vehicle

• Click on "Vehicles" from the menu bar
• Click the license plate for which vehicle you wish to update information
• Click the "Edit" button
• Make any necessary changes, then click the "Next" button

Note: You cannot edit a license plate number once entered, but you can edit other information, such as make, model, year, and color. If the plate number has changed or have received licenses plates, see the instructions above on adding a vehicle or contact UND Parking Services at 701.777.3551 or by emailing parking@UND.edu.
